Meet Morris

Morris loves everyone. Bring it on. Kids, other dogs, cats,...

Morris was surrendered to our House when he didn't sell and the breeder needed the space. Morris is now ready to wiggle his way into your household and your heart!

Morris is a 2 year s old male Yorkie weighing 5lbs. He was named for the Morris mini-car (brother of the mini-Cooper) because of his squatty body and his zippy speed as he zooms around the yard. Pardi color, so black and white with a few brown touches for added cuteness. He apparently heard "party" not "pardi" and hasn't slowed down since. Fully grown he will be under 6 - 7 pounds. That small sizes belies his huge personality.

Morris would be a great fit for a number of households. He could be an only dog or part of a group. His typical puppy antics may annoy some senior dogs, but he is easily distracted and anxious to please. He's fine with dogs ranging in size from Yorkie to Newfie and loves cats. Morris is making progress on housebreaking, but will need consistency and scheduled potty breaks to really cement his learning. He sleeps in his crate at night and hangs out there during the day when no one is home. A fenced yard would be nice but not required. He would love an active household with plenty of play and snuggle time with lots of enrichment toys to keep his very agile brain occupied. Morris would not do well left alone while someone works full-time, but can handle the occasional crating during the day.

He is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, microchipped, neutered, fecal tested, and vet checked.
