Update 9/21/23: Have you ever seen a cuter little face? Cant even imagine him wandering the streets, or behind bars at a shelter. Hes the sweetest little love.and now Matty (aka Midget) is safe, comfortable. Although the shelter had him listed as 6 years-old, the vet thinks hes closer to 3 years-old. We dont think he sees very well but he isnt running into anything. He really loves his foster mom and dad, knows their voices, and spends his time following them around. Toby likes playing musical beds and has found his favorite spots quickly. He loves to be held and brushed! Hes still wheezing and has a pretty bad infection, so he was started on antibiotics yesterday. We suspect his severe dental disease, and perhaps an abscess may be the causes of his infection. Well repeat his bloodwork in two weeks to check on the status of the infection and develop a treatment plan to address all his other medical issues from there.

 

Please continue to check for updates on sweet, tiny Matty as his foster mom gets to know him better and works on improving his infection. This little guy is safe, comfortable, and receiving the love, kindness and respect he deserves now that hes surrounded by our us team, and generous supporters like YOU!
