Binx

Meet Binx! An approximately 8 month old male Yorkie puppy who was found emaciated and abandoned behind a Dunkin Donuts in the city and brought to the local shelter. He was immediately pulled by his foster parents as a crowded shelter environment was no place for this sweet, emaciated young pup to regain his health! In his loving foster home he has gained 1.5 pounds and is now a healthy 4.6 pound pup!

Binx enjoys the company of his furry friends, but enjoys the companionship of his human friends the most. He will actively seek out his foster mom and try to snuggle her as much as he possibly can.

Due to his malnutrition, his teeth have shown some abnormal wear for his age, and his future home should be aware that he may have some dental issues in the future. Despite this, his favorite thing to do is chew on Benebones and he will collect them and put them on his dog bed or in his crate for safe-keeping. Binx also has the cutest underbite and will often show it off with his derpy smile.

Binx enjoys burrowing into the couch to hide when he sleeps and sometimes will flinch at human touch before getting to know someone—proving that he was not handled very nicely wherever he came from.

He has lived harmoniously with 5 other dogs of both sexes and a cat in his foster home, and is ok with being the star of the show in his furever home or an addition to a home with other friendly pets. He shares his things with other dogs and humans and has not shown any resource guarding behaviors whatsoever.

Binx walks well on a leash, and is working on his potty training. He sleeps in his crate at night and is crated when he is home unattended.

He is really looking for a family that will give him the love and attention that he has lacked in his rough start to life. He is a very loyal pup and has a lot of love to give!
